This The central worker configuration can be configured directly managed through the QubeGUI when logged in WranglerView when run on the Supervisor as an administrator by opening the Host Worker Layout, selecting the desired Workers to change, and then right-click to select the "Configure On Supervisor…" popup menu item.

Note

This option is only available when:

  • running the WranglerView on the supervisor host
  • AND the user has the qube 'admin' privilege

Select one or more workers in the Workers layout, <right-click> to show the menu, and select Configure on Supervisor.

Make any desired changes

The worker configuration UI will be shown.  Any values that you edit will have their labels turn green, as in the worker_description field below.

Saving the changes will automatically publish them to the workers

Clicking OK will save the changes to the central worker configuration, at which time the supervisor will then automatically instruct all workers to re-request their configuration from the supervisor.  No supervisor or worker restart is necessary.  Any workers not currently running will receive the changes when they next start up.
