Let's get oriented by looking at the labeled section of the interface:

  1. Main Menu The standard menu.
  2. Filter BarUse the Filter Bar to filter down the Job Layout to include only those jobs you are interested in. Toggle the "state" buttons to display or hide jobs of different states. Change the text field next to the "user filter" to display a different user's jobs.
  3. Job Layout PaneThe most significant portion of the job control and monitoring workflow. Jobs that are displayed here can be filtered, sorted and selected.
  4. Component PaneExamine the job components in this pane. By switching tabs, you can ex-amine a job's Instances/subjobs or its agenda items (frames).
  5. Detail PaneUse the detail pane to drill down into the specific details of each job or its components. Look at job logs, statistics, timing graphs, and frame previews (supporting Job Types only).
  6. Status Pane Feedback on what the GUI is doing.
